This policy explains what information ZB Zoology (zbzoology.com) collects when you browse the site, place an order, join the email list, or send us a message, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Orders: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, and the items you order.
- Payments: payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered into Stripe’s secure payment form and go directly to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Email list: if you sign up to be notified about new drops, we collect your email address.
- Contact form: if you send us a message, we collect your name, email address, and the message itself.
How we use it
- To fulfill and ship your order, send order confirmations and shipping updates, and handle replacements.
- To calculate sales tax and keep the records we need for tax and accounting.
- To email you about new drops if you’ve signed up for the email list. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To reply to your messages.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with the services needed to run the shop:
- Stripe processes payments and may collect device and fraud-prevention information. If you choose to use Stripe Link, your payment details are stored under your Link account. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
- WooCommerce Tax, a service from Automattic, is used to calculate sales tax. Your shipping address may be sent to it to determine the correct rate.
- MailPoet manages our email list. It runs as a plugin on our own website, and emails are sent from hello@zbzoology.com through our email delivery service.
- Our website host stores the site and its data.
- USPS receives your name and shipping address to deliver your order.
Cookies
The shop uses cookies that are necessary to keep items in your cart and complete checkout. Stripe may also set cookies to help prevent fraud.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as needed to fulfill orders and meet tax and accounting requirements. We keep email list information and contact messages until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message. You can also email hello@zbzoology.com to ask what information we have about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it. We may need to keep certain order records for tax and accounting purposes.
Children
This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top of this page.
